making instrumental problems?

    I want to make my own instrumentals and take the instrumental from songs that already have someone singing on them. what programs are good and easy?

    Foobar2000 with diskwriter.

    Use these DSPs in this order:
    Simple Surround -> Downmix channels to mono

    Another possibility is "Center Cut", available as DSP plugin for foobar2000 and winamp (based on a VirtualDub audio filter). It's been mentioned here recently, use the search function for details.
