map packs

hey all the map packs i download are ppf files and i dont know how to get the actual map can anyone please help me?

 

come on please help i need the actual files of the killtrocity and not the ppfs

 

You apply the ppf's to the maps which they're designated to.

 

not the modded maps but the ones that are not on the original halo 2 like the maps from the multiplayer map pack

 

and also on killtrocity it doesn't say the halo 2 original map it just says the modded map name

 

FTP the maps you downloaded. There is a Halo Modding tutorial somewhere on this site.. Just find it. Then, get something called ppf-o-matic, and apply the PPF's to those maps resign them with Coolspots map resigner. Then if needed, use Encryptomatic Signature. FTP the maps back and overwrite the old ones.

One thing to remember is that you need to make a backup of your maps.
