Maxell 50-Pack DVD+R/-R - $12.99
and thats about it
I wonder why the dry spell. There hasn't been anything great recently, correct?
I was at my local BB yesterday and there was absolutely no Verbs there. None.
This just sucks!
Oh well, good thing I have a massive amount "in stock"
Finding MIJ Maxells is like finding a needle in a haystack!
Check Walgreens, Sears, etc, maybe K-Mart.
no kidding, there hasn't been any verb sales at bb in a while.
I've given up on finding the MIJ Fuji/Maxell/Sony +Rs. Thus, I'm sticking with Verbs (not that that is a problem). But they haven't been on sale for a while. I'm down to a spindle and a half!
man! i remember a time when i ate dvds for breakfast, lunch and diner, now i dont use them as much so i still have about 100 left.
almost forgot: thanks jasper u da man
Blame it on the economy, companies are going the cheap route these days.
Mr. Pink I'm in the boat with you dude .......
Office Depot has a 100 spindle of Maxells for $24.95. It is worth a look for the 8X MIJ. I was lucky to find such a spindle a couple of months ago, even though I know they are harder to find.
TDK 50 pack +/- 11.99 damm this sucks like hell nobody got any good media forsale.Do anyone know what TDK code out as? I'm thinking junk but not sure.
TDK 16X DVDs will code as follows:
You take your chances . . .
Unless those TDKs say "Made in Japan". I don't want them.
I have used TDKs before without much luck. All were made in Taiwan. Yuch!
Personally, the only TDK discs that I'll touch is their CDs . . .
I'm pretty certain that, like Verbatim, the only place that you'll find the Yuden made TDK DVDs is in Europe . .
Yeah, TDK does make decent CDs.
DVD Media, in USA, junk as far as I have seen.
You'll never find MIJs in a 100-pack, and you may only sporadically find an 8x MIJ 50-pack sitting on the shelf collecting dust. You got lucky, but for anyone else, it's a waste of time.
Beyond that, it turns out that Maxell MIJs don't even burn that well, and they have bonding problems, so unless you can find 16x Maxell MIJs, which are much better, I'd skip the 8x.
The last time I bought TDK DVD+Rs from Compusa they were CMCMagM01, but I got some a little while before that at Best Buy Yuden000T03. I think this was all around Christmas time last year.
well, od have 100 pack of maxell for 24.99
by the way, does anybody know what GQ and nexxtech coded out as??
i just bought a 100 pack sonys at staples for 24.99.Told them they were on sale at compusa, did not ask for ad so try it,it might work.
Did anybody take advantage of the Walgreens, Sony buy one get one free sale I posted a week or two ago? Buy 2 & it was $15.99 per 50 pack. 31 cents per disc....
I think the 20-something discs that I used from TDK (8x) were CMC Mags. That was before i knew about quality media.
Since then, only Verbs or TY (or its equivalent).
Separate names with a comma.
