this is the message I get when I get to the point that I should be burning everything went fine till then HELLLLP ME PLEASE
what program?? what drive?? what disc you using?? you havnt given us anything to go on generally this occurs because either a)you havnt put a disc in or b) you reached the burning point before the drive recongised the disc (so slow down and let it spin up first) or c)you using the wrong media for your drive or d)your using the wrong media for the file your trying to burn

My guess is that you are using a burner that only burns +R or +RW discs and you are trying to use -R or -RW discs. Is this correct?
Need more info! My burner is a LiteOn and I use Ritek discs. The type of answer I am looking for is that "my burner is a LiteOn LDW-811S and the discs I am using are Ritek G04 DVD-R." To find out what ID code your discs are there is a program called DVD Identifier. For instance, Memorex discs are not made by Memorex. They just buy them and put their label on them.
did I miss somthing....the burner I have is Mashita UJDA760 yes thats what is is called and the dvds that I have are hewlett packard [HP}
matshita...it came with the Great Qulity notebook computer I bought at Frys eletronics here in california(san jose)
what happens if you put a disc in your drive, restart your computer, then try to burn??? does it work???
I have rebooted reinstalled relocated it just gets to the final step and then that message....the movie is on my hard drive decryped and srunk...Im sure its just somthing I dont get but I have faith it will happen...
I believe the drive you have listed Matshita UJDA760 does not support DVD writing. It is a DVD-CDRW combo drive. If you have Nero open the info tool and see what media your drive supports
Matshita UJDA760= 8xDVD+R 4xDVD+RW 2.4xDVD+R DL 8xDVD-R 4xDVD-R 24xCD-R 24xCD-RW is your computer a laptop??? what are the specs?? ram, hard drive free space, op system??
I did some research and nothing I found says that the Matshita UJDA760 will burn DVDs, just CDs. So I must agree with Arniebear here.
Thanks squizzle, the research I did pointed towards this drive not being able to burn dvd's, but I could be wrong.
