Yeah I know they are bad but I have a lot of them left over. Has anyone gotten one to work with a PS2 backup?

Even if they work it's a bad idea to use them.

Memorex is a good brand (though other's don't believe so). I use ONLY memorex discs and have had no problem burning many DVD-R's on my slim ps2 with Swap Magic. Have about 50+ backups that work flawlessly. Just remember to use DVD Decrypter for all your backup and burning. ;)

memorex is in the second class media, out of four classes.

verbatims are the one to use. ps2, xbox360, wii, most people will use verbatims because they are high quality. if you get a coaster, then you probably burned the game incorrectly.
