    My motherboard

I am wondering what is the fastest DDR2 memory I can put in there. Crucial.com shows that it is compatible with the 1066 but newegg shows 800. Is crucial correct? Is it safe to run this memory with this motherboard? Also since it is Socket AM2 could I put in the latest dual core processors? Is there anywhere to find out this sort of info for the motherboard?
    Thanks

You could have checked Gigabyte's official website instead,to be more sure about that.Have a look here,it says it supports 800,not 1066.And you can even go to the memory support list to have a better idea.

Edit:btw your motherboard model is M55SLI-S4 and not M555SLI-S4,could be a bit misleading while searching.
