Merging SVCDs & more ..Help please

Hi

This is slightly a different topic , concerning same files I posted about under SVCDs to DVD is this possible Please advise . But I thought it warranted a new topic . I hope this is ok etiquette .

hardcandy pointed me to some nice guides , I followed the guide for merging svcds with mpeg-vcr , an awesome
guide & program . But The svcds I have to merge are
made up of 3 svcds for each movie . Being a newb
you may understand my confusion , since the guide is for 2 svcds . Since All must be in order/sequence to
work properly , can someone please instruct me on how
I can merge 3 or more svcds .

The program is awesome & as is guide , I`m just daft
I guess , I can`t figure this out .

I found another program called winavi , which will
make a dvd of these files , but i`m con fused by an
error message it gives me , I`m missing mpeg/ dvd codec
But fails to tell me precisely the codec I need , it says it`s on winavi.com , But it`s not . So what is this codec called exactly & where can I d/l it ? I have
mpeg2 filter [.m2v codec] for wmp installed , I thought
this was it , but it`s not
