I am using DVDXpress to rip, DVD lab to burn to back up my collection. Worked for every title but Out Of Time Special Edition put out by MGM. I even tried RIpping with DVDXpress, then creating a img. file and buring with DVDDecrypter ISO Write mode. Even worse. When using the first method my DVD player reads "Check Disc" and Power DVD reads "Unauthorized File Format." I think I may have had this problem once before a long time ago, and I think it was an MGM disc. Anyone know whats up?
Have you tried ripping with DVDDecrypter then compressing with either DVDShrink (free download) or DVD2One? You might also try burning with Nero or RecordNow, they both do quite well.
