Can the PS2 logitech mic be used for the Wii as well? Seems to be the less expensive way. Is the Wii compatible with all usb mics?

    TIA!

I looked into this before christmas as I had bought my daughters the high school musical game and predicted fights over the single microphone that comes with it. I read that there was indeed a logitech usb microphone that worked on it, and aparantly also worked on PS2 for singstar. I never bought one, but I did figure that if a microphone that worked on the wii would also work on a ps2, it should be the same vice versa, so I tried my Singstar microphones on the Wii, but they did nothing......So don't bother considering them as an alternative.

Is the "rapper" microphone a single mic straight to USB connection ?
Or is it like the singstar ones where its 2 into 1 via an adaptor, before the USB connection ?
