microsoft office word problem

Everytime that i try to open Microsoft Word it freezes up so i tried to open power point and it opens with no problem, the same for access and excel. But word will not open. so i uninstalled office 2003 and reinstalled it, and the same problem happened. So i uninstalled office 2003 again and installed office 2007 and the same problem with word happened. What are some of the things that may be causing this problem and what can i do to correct the problem

 

did u buy microsoft office or download it?

had the same problem with 2003 and 2007 i downloaded office 2000 and it works fine,

 

there was files missing from office 03 and 07, better off buying or get it off someone
