missing .wav file after using DVDtoAVI

    I have tried to follow the process to ripping dvds to avi on this website but run into a problem when i have to use CDEx to convert a .wav file to a .mp3. it says to select the .wav that DVDtoAVI made when it went through making the project...but there is no wav file. what am i supposed to do?

    You selected DTS audio track and it can't be converted to WAV (or anything else that can't be used for editing/encoding purposes). Select AC3 or DS2.0 (DS2.0 is ideal, as it doesn't have to be downmixed) audio track instead. SmartRipper produces the list of all streams within the VOB, its in a small textfile in dir where your ripped files are. Look at it, find first English / AC3 track (or DS2 track), go to top of the list and count the _audio_ tracks only, the number what you get when you reach the AC3/english is the Track# you need to select in DVD2AVI.
