ok - here it is. i have a dvd recorder and a camcorder. i used the dvd recorder to transfer videos i filmed on a project. the recorder created a dvd out of it - then i used shrink to capture small clips using the feature start and end then created new video files.
now i wanted to mixed these video files with some of my still sliedshows or mixed them up in such a way i can have still and moving pictures all together.
which software should i use? can dvdlab do it?

Yes, DVDLab can do it. It's probably the best tool for a mixed mode DVD (slides and movies all on one.)

Start by creating your slide show. Click Project, Add slide show.
    Next, add your movies.
    Make a menu.
Link however you want on the connections tab.
Read the help files, there are tutorials included.

hey i did it, and it worked but i cannot squeeze my slideshow to an existing movie or the other way around, my movie to an existing slideshow. i have to wait until each show is finish then the link will run the other show.
btw...what should i use to convert vob to avi or mpeg?

You can get out of the existing slideshow/movie by hitting the MENU button.
    Use rejig to rip vobs.

You would have to break the movie up into multiple movies, then have selectable links to go to the slide show, or continue movie, maybe with a timeout, so the movie just continues playing if no button is pushed.
