I'm playing an mkv file on VLC, but there is absolutley no sound, just a picture. Can anyone help me view the files with sound too?

    Thanks!

WMP Classic didn't play it, and the download link doesn't work for the other program - just brings up an error message.

I do, however, have vorbis.dll. Is this a good thing?

Are you running Windows XP or Vista?
Download GSpot, is a little application that tells you what codecs were used for your file and if they are properly installed in your PC.It seems thast you don't have the proper codecs.
