MKV

    hi can anyone help please, I am trying unsuccesfully at the moment to convert an MKV file to DVD, can anyone suggest any software.

    The best way to do this is with virtualdubmod (not to be confused with plain old virtualdub).
    http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net
    Once you open your file in virtualdubmod, pick direct stream copy for both audio and video (if it allows it) and save as an avi (that way you don't have to do any recompression). Then you can go to my website (link in signature) and use the guide ther on <Convert AVI to DVD> :)
