I had mkv toolnix before and the MKVMerge GUI was opened, it was a stand alone . I downloaded the new MKVtoolnix and the MKVMerge GUI is no longer a stand alone program. When I click on the MKVMerge GUI , and a box opens and lot of code (I guess that is what you call it) runs by very quickly and then closes. Does anyone know where I can get a stand alone MKVMerge GUI ? The MKVExtact GUI stands alone and works fine, but I can't seem to find MKVMerge GUI that stand alone. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate any help. Thank you
The newest versions (including portable): http://www.videohelp.com/software/MKVtoolnix Run mkvtoolnix-gui.exe and the merge window displays - it's a different layout, but the functions are the same as before.
I downloaded the new MKVtoolnix 8.9.0. I don't like the new setup. I prefer the Mkvmerge as a stand alone program. Thank you for anwsering.
