Mod Chip Bump in the Road

    If you haven't picked up a Wii yet and want to get one and put a mod chip in it, you might want to read this:

    Fantastic. They want to change the physical circuits to try to prevent future modchips. But hey, it also says that new chips would be popping up in about a month after this.

    this is actually good news, as it means those who upgraded before will probably have no trouble in the future because they will be focused on stopping the chips working in the new wiis.

    I would guess that the current price of mod chips used today will drop as newer systems come out and these chips become outdated. Good news if you want to wait to buy one anyway.
