modded ps2 for ddr games

    hi can any one tell me what does mod chips do, and does every ddr games have to have a modded ps2 or can it play on original one too?

    sorry i dont no what a ddr is but i do know that a modchip allows the use of backup games and homebrew apps.

    If you are trying to play an import of a PS2 DDR game, not the PSX DDR games from Jpn, then yes, you must have some sort of modification to play those games. Whether it is a mod-chip, Swap Magic, using an exploit, harddrive, or using other cheat devices, it's up to you on what you want to use. Since you're asking if you can play the DDR games on the original PS2, I'm assuming you must have an import/burnt copy of these DDR games you are trying to play.
