I've heard of just Flashing your BIOS, and modding your XBOX without installing a chip. Then you just go ahead and install the Dashboard. Anyone no how to and whatt the difference is?
I've heard of it, but I imagine it to be much more difficult. Plus, I don't know if you'd be able to go on Live. If anyone's done it it was probably that Andrew "bunnie" Huang guy. I don't know his website off hand but if you googled his name you'd probably find it.

its not hard ive done about 15 of them in a few minutes. the first one you mod is a little tough with the hd swap but after that use a memory card to put the linux files on the hd and its easy. heres a link to psycos post http://xemulation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4
