modified PS2 going online

    i cant play online with any game it ahs a DNAS error is it because my PS2 is modified?

    Yes, the purpose of DNAS is to keep people from using copies and backups online.

    just turn your mod off and you should be ok... unless you're talking about backups, then it's a whole diffrent story.

    i have a matrix infinity 1.36 modchip and a original socom 2 online game for the ps2.

    I also keep getting a Dnas 402 Error message everytime I go online. Can you please advise how to switch off my modchip when playing online.

    Also if you are getting the DNAS error for online gaming you should try the next steps:

    I you have a cable modem and you are not using a router(if you have the ethernet cable connected to the cpu straight from the modem) unplug it and plug it in you ps2 network adapter and then right away(like in 2 seconds) turn off and on you modem. It should work!!!!!
