Monitor Connection problem

    hi i have a different type of connector behind my computer, which is this one, [​IMG] and i have a different one on my monitor which is this one,[​IMG]

    also my graphics card has this behind it and [​IMG]and it came with this adaptor[​IMG] but it still wont work on my monitor for some reason


    ANYTHING WILL HELP

    use the dvi to vga adapter then try the two dvi connector of your video card

    yep, looks like a 15 pin VGA cable to me, use the adapter and it should work. The adapter is kind of hard to get screwed into the video card correctly, so hook it to the monitor cable first and get that secure, then kook it to the graphics card and test it to make sure you tightened it good.
    I have the exact same thing for my graphics card (XFX GeForce 7600GT)

    i tried hooking it up to my graphics card but it said mymonitor is not connected.
