Hi, I was wondering if there is a such thing as a monitor splitter, where I could use 1 monitor for 2 computers? Any information would be great.

    Thanks.

    Hiya,

What you should be looking for is a KVM switch.

    Keyboard
    Video
    Mouse

It will allow 2 or more computers to be controlled from one KVM point.

You can find the real cheap( relatively speaking, of course).

Look for Belkin (as an example), they are in 2-way, 3-way etc.

    Hope this helps...

They actually do have VGA and LCD split cables too (much like the y-split for 3.5mm stereo cables but obviously a tad bigger hehe). These splitters are also a tad harder to find although they tend to be cheaper if thats all the funtionality you are looking for. :)
