    Good afternoon to all.
    I noticed that Senior member Scuba Pete has four optical drives on his system.{envious grin}
    I was lead to believe, that only two optical drives could be used with the pc architecture.
    Perhaps those in the know could advise me how its done PLEASE.
    Best wishes to all......
    Philmort.

    D'oh! I hate when that happens :)

    You can have four drives by using a PCI to ATA Controller card that adds two more ATA connections.

    Some motherboards, like mine, have onboard ATA RAID which leaves the Primary and Secondary IDE channels free for up to four optical devices.

    Here's a link to a controller card so you can see what I'm typing about.
