I can't seem to find the answer anyway but it don't seem like that much of a problem.

Is there away to mount srt (subtitles) to a Avi or Mkv?

I have a media box and it doesn't allow me to add the srt. Only way is by having the subs hardcoded

I use AnyVideoConverter to hardcode the .srt into the video file and at the same time to .mkvx264 or .mp4x264 which pretty much play in anything.
