I am begging anyone to help me with this. I sucessfully ripped the DVD Titanic off of Gordian Knot software. It took three hours, and after a week of trying to get it onto my editing software I found there was 3 hours of nothing. Can anyone think of any reason why this would possibly happen. I am supposed to cut this movie for a band concert on the 17th and I am desperate....HELP

XviD, DivX, x264 (does it support anything else) are not the best for editing. I would suggest editing before encoding.

The problem with automated type software like GKNot is that it makes it hard to say where the problem is. Does your AVISynth script play ok?

I don't know Guardian Knot, but a black movie always comes for multipass DivX/Xvid compression if you look at the output movie after 1st pass.
    Could this be the case?
