    Hi,

Thought I'd start a thread in which we could list which films are less than 4.7Gb, i.e. Discs which you only need to make a disc image of and don't need to do anything complicated. I'll start the ball rolling, these films original disks are all under 4.7gb and fit on a single disk:

    LAKE PLACID
    SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION
    STIR CRAZY
WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
    NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 1
    STIR CRAZY

If you guys add on which films have an original disc size of under 4.7gb it makes it simpler for backing-up.

In response to less than 4.7 GB of available space

It is a marketing trick. There is a difference between MB and Mb (Mib). Without getting too technical, advertisers use mega[bold]bits[/bold] to represent capacity. So, instead of using the actual 8 bits in a byte 1024 bytes in a megabyte 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte, they round it to 1000 bytes in a megabit and 1000 megabits in a gigabit.
The rest of the (relatively) inconsequential difference is used by the filesystem
