    Can anyone help please?

Is there any package that can update the track listing of existing MP3 files that have been ripped as 01.mp3 02.mp3 etc. The only way I have been able to do this is to burn the MP3s to CD audio and then rip it again using Nero or Media Player 10 but as you can imagine this is a lengthy process.

There are plenty of packages that update the tags for audio CD, however, I cannot find any to do this for MP3s.

    Thanks

    Ste...

A year or two ago I did extensive searching for the best mp3 tagger/renamer. The best one hands down is called Tag&Rename. It can access the CDDB and rename all the mp3 tags, rename filenames to tags, vice versa, the list goes on and on. its in a easy to use windows explorer-like interface too. Definately worth a try, and worth the $30 to activate it past shareware.
