Mpeg compression

    I have a mepg file that is over 7 gig in size and I would like to try and get it to fit on one dvd. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks

    Even if u did compress u would make a coaster outta that dvd. U gotta convert the mpeg to dvd format. Where did u get a 7gb mpeg lol. It must be HDTV quality lmao!

    Maybe from a DVD double layer (9 GB).
    I suggest you use a DVD double layer burner or to change the ripping method and use DVD Shrink. And change forum, if you want more experienced people's answers...

    HAHA! Very funny aldaco. The guy should know u cant have a mpeg on a dvd and expect it to work on ur dvd player. Mpeg, avi, vcd, and svcd are very easy to convert if you have the right prog and a fast pc. SO THERE hmph! (just jokin)

    Shrink, burn, watch :)

    any sesgesten on software to convert mepg to dvd formt?

    Where do I go in the software to shrink a mpeg or convert it to dvd format?
