I have an MPEG file that lasts 20mins. When I play it on windows media player, VLC etc... It tells me that the file lasts 2mins. However, When it gets to the end of the 2mins it continues to play the video to the end of the 20mins. This makes it impossible for me to edit the file in a video editor. Can anyone suggest why it is doing this?? Please Help!!
I am a total newbie myself m8 but i think i can help. Download VCDGear from here http://www.vcdgear.com/ As soon as you open the program select MPEG>MPEG, load in your dodgy MPEG, pick a place to save it and then click start. Your 20min film should be fixed in a matter of a seconds. Hope this helps. John
