i downloaded some videos (*.mpeg) off WinMX.

The files are approximately 100MB. I was thinking that they were video files.

However, they won't play any video. Only thing that available is Audio.

I used "g spot" and had a look at the files properties. There was no "video stream". I don't know if there isn't one or there is no codec for it. There is an audio stream. Funny thing is, Xing MPEG player won't play the file at all. WMP will show the audio only.

I was also thinking, if the file is for audio only, it wouldn't be that large.

Can somebody tell me why these files won't play?? I have more than one file with the same problem.

Could there be something wrong with my computer? I require a new player maybe?

    Thanks!

Try AviCodec to search for the video and ausio stream.

Also what is the birate of the audio stream? (AVICodec will tell you)

Download AviCodec from the software section btw!
