I apologize if I have posted in the wrong place. I bought one of Haupauch's WinTv cards to enable me to record to my Hard Drove from TV and/or my VCR. Spent hours trying to make DVD files from my video recordings ... all I ended up with are mpg files that I can play on my computer, but will not play on my independant DVD player. Please, some help here. What software is out there than I can use to convert my MPg files to DVD format and burn to DVDs that will play in my DVD player. Thanks for any assistance or pointers to other posts that address my objectives.

You need to "author" the mpg's.
ReJig will give you an autoplay DVD, with no menus or anything, all the way up to DVDLab, which will let you make menus, chapters, and lots more.
