    when i download a movie in mpg.Do i have to use divx-dvd or can i burn it as is?And get the same quality.Thanks for your help.

    If you are going to burn it to DVD then you need to make it into mpeg-2 DVD-Compliant format. The guides at the top of this thread should get you going.
    You might want to look at this free program: VSO to DIVXtoDVD. You can D/L the last free beta program from this site

    If you have a player that supports reading mpeg's then you can burn as is. However most DVD players don't support that format. So you will need to convert the files to a DVD compliant format. There is a guide at my website called <Convert AVI to DVD> if you need to know how to do this the link is in my signature. :)
