    i havent done it but i am sure it creates the image in the same folder the bat file is opened in so make sure its on ur hdd not on a disc or usb key
    u can right click on the bat file and click edit or open with notepad to see the code inside

    your right you can open the bat file and see @del bootdisc.pal.iso
    @bootdisc\mkisofs.exe -R -J -G bootdisc/gbi.hdr.pal -no-emul-boot -b bootldr.dol -o ./bootdisc.pal.iso bootdisc/root
    @bootdisc\filechop bootdisc.pal.iso 4699979776 but what do you do with it?

    you are just meant to run the batchfile it then creates the iso u need

    are u sure its not failing due to having insufficient room on that drive - u need over 4 gig or is your hard drive formatted to fat and not ntfs - if set as fat - u cant have 4 gig files on it

    yes it matters regardless if its xp or not
    fat32 limits the size of a file you are allowed to have - think its 2 gig
    ntfs does not limit it

    u can tell by
    right click on ur hdd in my computer and choose properties

    it tells u in there

    Check the file system by doing what Thinone said. here is an image of the properties box...

    [IMG]

    If it is Fat32 then you can convert it to NTFS by folowing the guide that is link below...
