I am trying to back up my original star wars trilogy....

I don't really understand what multi angle means.. and I am not sure which one to pick when I'm ripping them onto a single layer DVD.

Can someone explain the difference b/w angles?

    Thanks!

Multi-angle DVDs/movies just means that the movie was shot using different angles/perspectives, 3 angles means that the movie can be viewed from three different perspectives (the camera was recording from a different location).

    Example:
    Take three identical scenes...
-in angle 1 everything is viewed from the front perspective
-in angle 2 everything is viewed from the rear perspective
-in angle 3 everything is viewed from the left or right perspective or at some other angle

Watch the DVD in your player using the different angles, choose the one you like best and back it up using that angled scene.
