ok i have bittornado and G3 and there both going slow so i need to know which one to use and make it go fast.
oh, and im using a windows xp profesional broadband high speed connection thing.
here is what i have done so far I have opened ports 6881 to 6889, i have forwarded my ports (6881-6889) on my linksys thing, and thats pretty much it.
    And here are my questions.
1.do i turn my fire wall off completely?
2.having my ports open on 6881 to 6889?
    3. how else can i make my bittorrent go faster

my download rate is like 2kps and my upload rate is like 9kps.

1: yes, it will increase the speed by heaps.
    2: yes, 6881-6889
3: Try setting up a different client instead of the crappy one that you get by default. id recommend using either bit-tornado or azureus.
    hope this helps! :)
