When playing a DVD from my HLDS(LG) combo drive on a dell labtop:

Some of the tracks on a DVD-rom doesent give any sound.
Could it be because the dvd-drive is not able to read some types of track on the ROM?

Or is it because of my software. Maby I need some sound codexes. But I thought a DVD was folowwing a standard so every drive can play any type of DVD rom (exept from diferent regions of course)

What exactly do you mean by some of the tracks give no sound?

Is this a copy or a facroty original?

What software are you using to play the disc?

    Some og the track:
I have tried it with to DVD's. The first one is a movie that some of my friends have made, and then put on a DVD. There is sound on when using a normal DVD-player, but not on my dvd-drive. The other DVD-rom is an official trailer-movie-dvd. The intro for example gives no sound, but the trailers does give sound.

I am using Windows Media player as DVD-player.

(Today I had a similar issue with playing an div-x movie. Sound was gone. But WinAmp did the job fine.)
