My DVD player doesn't play CD, VCD, SVCD anymore.

    When a disc is inserted, it spins for a while and then it says "NO DISC". I cleaned the head and it does the same thing, the player does not recognize the cd, vcd, svcd, anymore.
    What I have to do?

    i have the same problem except my player will play everything but dvds. any suggestions? i tried cleaning the lens.
