My DVD±RW Drive 8X4X12X Part number: KDVRWDUA drive won't read DVD-R discs correctly. When it reads it, the computer says its a Audio CD and only had 1.99 GB space on it. It says that all free space is already used up. Basiclly, it says the DVD-R is useless. (Already full) How do I fix this problem?

Is it a Software or hardware problem. I am using both Memorex and Sony DVD-R discs. Both new and sealed. Both read the same.

Can anyone help me??? There are no problems reading regular DVD's, CD's, or DVD+R.

I am using Windows 98 SE. Do I need to install firmware or something?
