This bring the cost to $1020.63CND w/xp home oem and $894.10 no xp

Please send me any changes you would make, I know i went a little overboard with the stuff. The os will be XP if i can get my hands on and oem copy.

Also if I buy OEM windows do I have to give support?? I know that you cant use the phone support for OEM, but can you use internet support, like chatting with a tech?

This will be used for Pictures (photoshop, editing, slide shows) internet and NO gaming.

Is this a gaming rig? if it is, I would go with 2 gigs of ram (same kind as you wanted) and a better video card. Possibly the 8 series or anything above a 7600 for nvidia.

    Everything else looks good though.

Are you going to get XP or Vista?

No, i am building this for someone who is over 75 so they dont play games, just surf the web and do alot with pictures (photoshop)

I am going with xp because she does not want to have to learn a new operating system. and xp nevery seems to use more then a gig of RAM, vista on the other hard (vista ulitmate) likes to use 1.4gbs all the time.

If this is for a person that is 75 then it is far more than she needs but will last her a lifetime :) all i would alter is the optical drive go with Pioneer or Plextor not LG.
