For some reason, my printer (Canon) will not print anything. I went out and bought a new one (Lexmark) installed it with no problem but when I go to print something, it says printing but doesn't actually print. Then something recently popped up and said something to the extent of "Check USB port". Can someone give me some suggestion on what to do? Thanks
Also, just to add something else. I'm attempting to re-install my old Canon printer but I cannot find my installation disc. Is there any way around that?
You might check the Canon site for the install download. You could also check your canon on a friend's pc to see if ok. Sounds like it's a USB problem. Do you have anything that you could connect to the usb port that's not working to see that device will work? Do you have more than one USB port, change ports. Change the USB cord to another or new one.
