first let me start off by saying im a n00b and greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer. second i have searched both google and this site in regards to this issue and the closest thing i found was people gettin this error when trying to split a dvd; however im' not trying to split a dvd. my objective is to copy a dvd9 thru shrink; and 99% of the time i have no problems, however on newer movies i encounter the problem that shrink wont read them, this is where dvdfab decryptor comes in... this freeware will rip the dvd9 to the hd and then i can open and analize the movie with shrink, however when i try to burn i get: Windows XP 6.0 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=126.96.36.199, size=169792 bytes, created 3/14/2007 11:43:16 AM NT-SPTI used Nero API version: 188.8.131.52 Using interface version: 184.108.40.206 Installed in: C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\ Application: ahead\Nero - Burning Rom Internal Version: 7, 8, 5, 0 Recorder: <TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652M>Version: 0414 - HA 1 TA 0 - 220.127.116.11 Adapter driver: <IDE> HA 1 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ? === Scsi-Device-Map === === CDRom-Device-Map === TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652M E: CDRom0 ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: WriteBufferSize: 83886080 (0) Byte BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 894MB (916160kB) Free physical memory: 268MB (275164kB) Memory in use : 69 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Disabled (0) 29.6.2007 NeroAPI 9:27:03 PM #1 Phase 112 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 285 DVD-Video files reallocation started 9:27:04 PM #2 DVDREALLOC -24 File DVDVideoCompilation.cpp, Line 1317 One or more files (mostly VOB file(s)) do not belong to the corresponding IFO file 9:27:04 PM #3 Phase 115 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 285 DVD-Video files reallocation failed 9:27:04 PM #4 Text 0 File NeroAPIBurnFS.cpp, Line 218 Failed to realloc DVD video files Existing drivers: File 'Drivers\ADPU160M.SYS': Ver=6.4.645.100 (NT.051018-1332), size=98408 bytes, created 11/2/2006 4:50:35 AM File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS': Ver=18.104.22.168 , size=2560 bytes, created 7/24/2006 6:00:00 AM File 'Drivers\PXHELP20.SYS': Ver=3.00.40a, size=36528 bytes, created 7/24/2006 6:00:00 AM This only happens on movies such as UltraViolet and Running w/ Scissors that have Sony's Arcoss on them. Now i can re-author the DvD and it will rip with No problems, however is there anyway i can keep the oringal menus???? Note: I've also used AnyDvD and the DvDfab Gold Free Trials and did not have this problem, however my free trial(s) have expired and i dont have an extra $50 to spare. Any help appreciated.
