Naruto torrents to DVD-R for dvd players.

I have many Naruto torrents on CD-R, I want to put them on my computer and then burn them to DVD-R to make them DVD player compatible.

I tried before with Roxio easyDVD creater 5. I made a VCD, however that didnt work on my older player. But my new player a dvd recorder it is new it retails at bt 300£ so VCD'S should work on it.

However I am wondering if I burn them to dvd usin the same process only selecting DVD instead of VCD will it work without me having to do all that other stuff with audio and subtitles and stuff?
