nearly have first DVD copyed.need a little help.

    I have an MPEG file which needs to be converted to VCD
    to be played in a DVD player.Is there a free program that does this apart from nero.
    Please help.

    dont u need .VOBS then use nearer? if so use TMPGEnc DVD author - http://www.TMPGEnc.com and download trial - use that to convert MPEG movie to vobs and nero can write them to dvd<>
