NEC DVD ND-1300A

    Hi, does anyone here have that burner? If so, can you or have u burned ps2 games at 1x using dvd-r?

    i think the minimum speed for that writer is 2x, burns games fine though, it's slow enough to have a good burn and fast enough to not take 3 days to burn one dvd :p

    I have the same burner , I haven't tried it, as I don't know how to choose 1X speed there :(

    Fuzzy_C , may I ask you please how do you burn it with 2X , what program do you use?
    I used NERO to record on CD-R , the lowest speed is 8X there

    Thanks for the fast reponse guys. I was just wondering. I wouldnt mind to wait " 3 days" lol i just want a clean burn that wont cause my ps2 lense to go bad. I read somewhere on this form where someone said the burning speed really doesnt matter, is what brand cd's you use. I got some memorex dvd-r's and was wondering if those are good?
