the 42" magnavox from costco.com is incredible, full 1080p for only 999.99 , i got my computer hooked into it via vga and my ps3 via hdmi and the picture clarity is great for standard def and hi def. other than that maybe a sceptre or a vizio with 720p.

The only 1080p 32 in tvs i've seen are Sharp Aqous. But they're really expensive. If you really want a 1080p tv you should get a tv over 50 inches because that's when you'll really see the difference. But if you want a tv in the 32in range it won't make a difference and you'll be paying an EXTRA amount of money for NOTHING. So for a cheap hdtv in your size i'd get a vizio, westinghouse,(That magnavox seemed like a good deal) and Olevia. All are par tvs for that size
