i need a program to view and change .dat files on a disk
You can open .dat files with notepad, just make sure that you unclick always open with, when opening.
And when you save it again, choose all files while saving, otherwise it saves as text.
Or you can simply download the program called UltraEdit32. Use that to edit your .dat file. When you open up a .dat, it will ask you if you want to convert the file to DOS, select YES. It will only make it display the file properly but will not convert the file. When you click save, the file will be saved in UNIX format, which is how you want it.
Separate names with a comma.
