I have a v7 PS2. It was given to me by a friend for free because he had a jammed drive. I fixed this and have noticed that the A/V ports on the back of the system are in bad condition (cracked and pins falling out). Is there any place I could get a broken PS2 motherboard so I could swap out the A/V ports and do you think this is a good idea, in other words, would the PS2 still work after this swap?

if you get the same version and do the de-solder and re-solder everything right. it IS possible, but just an ass. but hey if you have the time. should work. try it. if it works you could sell it or something and bank it. ^_^
