I have a Sony VAIO PCV-RS530G computer, but recently formated it, so the only thing I have right now is the operating system. I need some drivers for it, but I can't use the system recovery disk because I updated the BIOS before, and the disk thinks I'm using a different computer. Can anyone find me some drivers or the original BIOS file?

Try to use this program called everest to find the drivers you need.

    Everest home Edition.

Alright, I used the program and found out my motherboard model is P4SD-VL by ASUS. I went to their website, but couldn't find any drivers for my model there. Also, EVEREST seems to only list the drivers I have, but not the ones I need. Is there a list for the drivers I need?

At the manafacturer of your motherboards website you should find a auto updated program for your type of motherboard through that it can download all the updates automatically.

I found this site that has the drivers i think you need.

    http://www.driverskit.com/MotherBoard/Asus.html

    Good Luck.

Thank you everyone, but I cannot use the installers Sony gives out because they check the BIOS, and I updated mine. I looked around http://www.driverskit.com/MotherBoard/Asus.html but still couldn't find any drivers I needed. If someone could try to find the the drivers, I would be really grateful. I'm missing drivers for

    PCI Modem
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Ethernet Controller
    Multimedia Video Controller

If anyone has questions for my hardware, just ask away.

Thank you SO much! I fixed by ethernet problem, but there is still a slight problem with the sound problem. When the installer is near the end, there is a message saying the driver is not found. I'm confused by this message since the installer is supposed to install the driver, so a driver naturally wouldn't be there.

Sorry, but I couldn't find that on my motherboard. I can look again later. I did find out my motherboard model is P4SD-VL if that is any help.

This could be a long shot but you could send your motherboard's details via an email to your motherboards company and tell them of your problem and maybe they can send you the correct link to what you need.

    Alright, I'll try that.

By the way, does anyone think the drivers could be on the hardware? So, if I take the hardware out, then plug it back in, it would install automatically?

Alright, thank you. I'll keep looking for that. Are there any more clues on where to find it, such as is it printed on a chip, or the motherboard, the size of the lettering, or the general location?

Alright, so it's toward the back of the computer, near the PCI slots?

Is there any way to confirm that I have a Intel Desktop Board D865GBF? And are motherboards and desktop boards the same thing?
