Need For Speed Most Wanted

My version of the game crashes every time I mod my car and try to go back to free-roam... Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? It also crashes when I am in my garage and I try to go to free-roam....

download a patch

 

the patch won't work if he downloaded the game in the first place..

 

the game is not downloaded, and I have the patch..... thanks for the help though
