need help buying a grahics card

    hey guys im on a budget and i was thinking of getting Diamond Radeon HD 3850 512MB. do u guys any thoughts about it. my budget is 200.

    all thoughts are appreciated

    ^Get that card, you wont be dissappointed. Also note that a new PSU will be necessary if you are adding this to a pre built system.

    What are your other pc specs?

    get which card. my pc specs are: intel dual core 3.2 Ghz, 250 gb hard drive, 1 gb ram {im going to buy corsair 2 gb ram soon} what is a PSU?

    Oh sorry. PSU is just short for power supply unit. I would recommend a Corsair 450 or HX520. Both are of high quality and get excellent reviews on all sites I have seen them on.

    You should get the 3850 512mb. You wont be let down.

    I wanted to see your specs just to make sure you didnt have a Pentium 4, so your graphics card doesnt get bottlenecked. Also, do indeed get the 2GB of ram.

    An Antec 500W unit will be fine.
