Need help making a backup copy of a CD-R

    I purchased 6 CD-R study guide disks. I made a backup copy using Nero 6.0. When I tried to run the new disc, it installed the program, but will not run it. When I run the program, all I get is "insert correct disc".

    Does this mean I have a copywrite CD? How do I make a copy that will work?

    Your disc(s) are probably protected. Non game PC protections can be anywhere from difficult to impossible to defeat. The first step would be to download A-Ray Scanner and scan each disc for some sort of protection:
